Yours looks like it's been brazed, soldered or welded to the trigger guard. Can you open the floorplate? Another question I can't answer is some spots that look corroded. Cosmoline lasts a long time when sealed from air exposure. Yours is very dried out and will require care in removing. Scraping it off will damage the finish. There's got to be a specific solvent that will remove the waxy residue, but I don't know what will work best. No brazing, soldering or welding on the floor plate (or anywhere else on the rifle).
